This is the vision behind Armadi e Contenitori, the new Colombini Office catalogue: not a collection of products, but an integrated system conceived to interpret the new dynamics of the contemporary workplace.
A system, not a sum of elements
Cupboards, bookshelves, lockers and sideboards are no longer independent components, but parts of a single design language.
A modular system that enables the creation of complex, coherent and customised configurations, responding to diverse functional, spatial and aesthetic needs.
The strength of the project lies in its flexibility: each element is designed to interact with the others, generating solutions that go beyond simple storage to actively shape the architecture of space.
The HUB as a design metaphor
To narrate this system, Colombini Office envisioned an HUB: a place of style developed across five floors, each with its own distinct identity.
A narrative device that also becomes a design tool, showing how the same system can adapt to different contexts, functions and atmospheres.
Floor 1 – Coworking
Shared and dynamic environments, where cupboards, bookcases and lockers become the protagonists of a light, modular system. Here, design prioritises flexibility and the ability to reconfigure spaces according to evolving needs.
Floor 2 – Web Agency
A contemporary setting in which Infinity bookcases turn into true architectural elements, capable of defining, connecting and organising space without ever feeling heavy.
Floor 3 – Notary Office
Rigorous proportions, warm finishes and full-height solutions shape an authoritative aesthetic, where storage becomes an integral part of the space’s identity.
Floor 4 – Fashion Atelier
A tailored approach to design, where cupboards, bookcases and sideboards engage in a continuous dialogue, creating an expressive, elegant and bespoke environment.
Floor 5 – Architecture Studio
A fluid and creative space, in which the system expresses its full potential in terms of integration, modularity and compositional freedom.
